About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Functional Analyst to join our team at Nova Scotia Community College. As a key member of our Cybersecurity and Identity and Access (IAM) team, you will play a critical role in ensuring the smooth operation of our Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) systems, specifically Identity Management applications.

Responsibilities

  • Coordinate, triage, and prioritize helpdesk tickets and operational requests related to NSCC's ERP systems, with a focus on Savyint.
  • Provide functional and business analysis expertise in the planning, development, testing, and execution of Identity and Access Management system projects.
  • Engage with managed service vendor partners as required.
  • Participate in technical change management processes as a requestor, implementor, or technical reviewer.
  • Author, edit, and update related technical knowledge articles and system documentation.
  • Provide leadership and technical direction to frontline support staff on Identity Management system-related questions.
  • Lead peer-to-peer orientation or training on identity management systems as needed.

Requirements

  • A minimum of a post-secondary diploma or degree in information management or a related field.
  • ITIL Foundation Certification is considered an asset.
  • A minimum of two years (full-time equivalent) of recent and related occupational experience in Enterprise Applications.
  • Experience supporting and maintaining SQL, XML, and/or HTML code.
  • Experience creating and maintaining different types of end-user and technical documentation.
  • Experience coordinating work for cross-functional teams.
  • Occupational experience that includes Savyint experience is considered an asset.
  • Microsoft Office power user.
  • Comfortable working in a digital environment, with a commitment to acquiring knowledge about advancing technology.
