Momentum Financial Services Group is a leading provider of financial services in North America. As a Data Architect, you will play a key role in providing business, data, application and technology consulting and leadership for the Enterprise IT portfolio.

Key Responsibilities
  • Design and implement data models, meta-data models, process flows, process models, and data services for global information technology projects.
  • Capture requirements for these services and identify techniques and technologies to be applied at the data level.
  • Define data management principles and policies for the enterprise, including data quality, organization, ownership, and systems of record.
  • Work with and provide leadership and technical guidance to other architects and database administrators.
Requirements
  • Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, or related field AND 8+ years experience in Data/Database technologies, information technology (IT) consulting/support, software development/support, technology solutions, practice development, architecture, and/or consulting.
  • OR Master's Degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, or related field AND 8+ years experience in Data/Database technologies, technology solutions, practice development, architecture, and/or consulting.

Skills and Experience:

  • 8+ years' experience in data modeling, development, implementation, and support of transactional databases and data warehouses for global, large-scale systems.
  • 3+ years of business unit experience, with sensitivity and commitment to business problem solving.
  • Experience with relational database platforms including Microsoft SQL Server and MySQL.
  • Experience with meta-data repository technologies.
  • Advanced expertise in stored procedure programming, data modeling, replication, performance monitoring and optimization, and database administration.
  • Experience in data warehousing, ETL, and distributed environments.
  • Experience with data modeling for Object Oriented systems.
  • Microsoft Desktop Productivity Tools, Visio, and System Modeling Tools.
  • Experience with data modeling concepts and tools such as ERWin.
  • Experience with BI tools such as Power BI, Tableau, etc.
