At Hardcastle Formwork Ltd., we are seeking a skilled Carpentry Assistant to join our team. As a key member of our construction team, you will be responsible for assisting experienced carpenters in various tasks related to building foundations, installing floor beams, and erecting walls and roof systems.

The ideal candidate will have no degree, certificate, or diploma, but will have at least 1 year of experience in a related field. You will work at heights, in noisy and dusty environments, and will be required to handle heavy loads and work under tight deadlines.

In this role, you will be responsible for preparing layouts in conformance to building codes, measuring, cutting, shaping, assembling, and joining materials made of wood, wood substitutes, lightweight steel, and other materials. You will also be responsible for maintaining, repairing, and renovating residences and wooden structures in various locations.

To be successful in this role, you must be accurate, have good judgement, and be a reliable team player. You will also be required to own transportation and have a valid driver's license.
