About the Role:

We are seeking a skilled Carpentry Apprentice to join our team at Hardcastle Formwork Ltd. As a key member of our construction team, you will be responsible for assisting in the preparation, construction, and maintenance of residential and commercial buildings.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Assist in the preparation of layouts and construction of buildings, using measuring tools and materials made of wood, wood substitutes, and other materials.
  • Measure, cut, shape, assemble, and join materials to build foundations, install floor beams, lay subflooring, and erect walls and roof systems.
  • Maintain, repair, and renovate residences and wooden structures in various settings.

Requirements:

  • 1 year to less than 2 years of experience in carpentry or a related field.
  • Ability to work at heights, in noisy and dusty environments.
  • Physical stamina to handle heavy loads and work in a fast-paced environment.
