Strategic Account Director

The Global Account Leader will be responsible for providing strategic leadership and management of our global customer relationship with one of the largest communications providers in Canada. This role will involve building and maintaining key relationships, developing and managing opportunities, monitoring deployment projects, and engaging virtual resources. The successful candidate will define executive relationships within the account, including engaging with AWS senior leadership team for executive sponsorships, coordinating executive business reviews, and maintaining customer satisfaction.
Key Responsibilities
The Global Account Leader is responsible for teaming with the customer's IT and other organizations to build strategic relationships across the account, articulating a clear vision, and generating enthusiasm. This role will involve selling at the most strategic level within the account and implementing a broad strategy for earning customer acceptance and service implementation. The position will work with all appropriate AWS resources (Executives, Solution Architects, Business Development, Marketing, Partners, Support, Service teams, and Professional Services) to support customer interests. This includes dotted line responsibility for downstream sales and technical resources that may be geographically distributed.

BASIC QUALIFICATIONS
- 7+ years of technology-related sales, business development, or equivalent experience
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent
- Experience working with and presenting to C-level executives, IT, and lines of businesses across organizations or equivalent
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS
- Experience selling cloud solutions at a software company or equivalent
- Experience with AWS and technology as a service (IaaS, SaaS, PaaS)
