About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Accounting Professional to join our team at EXDY Synergy Inc. as a Bookkeeper. In this role, you will be responsible for maintaining accurate and up-to-date financial records, preparing financial statements, and ensuring compliance with accounting standards.

Key Responsibilities
  • Financial Record Keeping: Maintain accurate and detailed financial records, including accounts payable, accounts receivable, and general ledger.
  • Financial Statement Preparation: Prepare financial statements, including balance sheets, income statements, and cash flow statements.
  • Accounting Standards Compliance: Ensure compliance with accounting standards and regulations, including GAAP and tax laws.
  • Payroll and Benefits Administration: Calculate and prepare cheques for payroll, manage benefits administration, and ensure compliance with employment laws.
  • Financial Analysis and Reporting: Prepare financial reports, including statistical and accounting reports, to support business decision-making.
Requirements
  • Education: College or CEGEP diploma in Accounting or related field.
  • Experience: 2 years to less than 3 years of experience in accounting or bookkeeping.
  • Skills: Proficient in MS Excel, strong analytical and problem-solving skills, attention to detail, and ability to work independently.
Working Conditions
  • Work Environment: Permanent position with 30 to 35 hours per week.
  • Language: English.
