Parts Sales Associate

Job Summary:

We are seeking a highly motivated and customer-focused Parts Sales Associate to join our team at City Buick Chevrolet Cadillac GMC. As a key member of our sales team, you will be responsible for providing exceptional customer service and selling parts to our customers.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and maintain a thorough knowledge of our parts inventory and be able to assist customers with their parts needs.
  • Provide excellent customer service and respond to customer inquiries in a timely and professional manner.
  • Sell parts to customers through our shop, over the phone, and through telemarketing efforts.
  • Assist customers with the selection of parts and provide information about our product line.
  • Provide price quotes and other related parts information to customers.
  • Determine availability of out-of-stock items and submit emergency orders as needed.
  • Review files weekly to track back orders and return to vendor items.
  • Issue credit for parts returned.
  • Assist with shipping and receiving as needed.

Requirements:

  • Previous parts experience is an asset, but not required - we provide training.
  • GM experience is considered an asset.
  • Excellent customer service skills and ability to learn and utilize electronic parts catalogues.
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities using good organizational and time management skills.
  • Strong communication skills and a desire to achieve the very best in customer service and teamwork.
