About the Role

This is a casual position, meaning you'll have flexible scheduling and varying shift times. You'll work independently within a supportive team environment to perform duties related to cardiology testing, including techniques for Electro Cardiogram (ECG) testing, stress testing, Holter monitoring, pacemaker monitoring, and other diagnostic cardiac equipment.

Some key responsibilities of this role include:

  • Preparing patients for testing by explaining procedures and answering questions
  • Performing non-invasive examinations, such as ECG, stress testing, and Holter monitoring, by attaching electrodes and operating equipment
  • Monitoring patients and scanning test strips during cardiograms and stress tests, taking action upon recognition of cardiac arrhythmias or other abnormalities
  • Scanning and analyzing ECG, stress, Holter, and event monitor, and ambulatory blood pressure monitoring test strips, summarizing for interpretation by medical staff
  • Transferring and assigning ECGs in ECG Cardiology Management systems for interpretation by medical staff

The estimated salary range for this role is $54,800-$73,900 per year, depending on qualifications and experience.
