Job Title: Assistant Vice President, Finance

LCI Education is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Assistant Vice President, Finance to join our executive team. As a key member of our leadership team, you will play a critical role in driving financial performance and strategic development in Canada.

Responsibilities:
  • Participate in major decision-making processes, including financing strategy, development, and operations;
  • Lead and inspire international finance teams, promoting a positive and motivating work environment;
  • Support the Vice-President and Chief Financial Officer with analysis reports and performance indicators;
  • Monitor and implement operating budgets in collaboration with the management team;
  • Ensure strict control over activities related to operations and objectives;
  • Create and maintain a dynamic organizational structure for the finance department;
  • Take a key leadership role within LCI's global finance teams;
  • Work with business units to develop strategies for medium- and long-term growth;
  • Contribute to global process alignment and automation;
  • Report on financial performance and lead the annual budget process;
  • Establish mechanisms to facilitate development projects and maximize ROI;
Requirements:
  • Minimum 15 years of experience in similar leadership roles;
  • Undergraduate degree in accounting or finance and CPA AUDITOR designation;
  • Master's degree in business administration is an asset;
  • Strong experience in project planning, continuous improvement, and change management;
  • Strong background in managing teams and interest in modern management methods;
  • Experience in an entrepreneurial environment with day-to-day operations involvement;
  • Comfortable with information systems and data organization;
  • Fluently bilingual, both oral and written;
