Kitchen Team Lead

We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Kitchen Supervisor to join our team at Edo Japan - Tillicum. As a key member of our kitchen staff, you will be responsible for ensuring the smooth operation of our kitchen, maintaining high standards of food quality and safety, and leading a team of food preparation staff.
Key Responsibilities:- Supervise and coordinate the activities of food preparation staff, ensuring that all tasks are completed efficiently and effectively.
- Train staff in job duties, sanitation, and safety procedures, and provide ongoing support and guidance as needed.
- Estimate ingredient and supply requirements for meal preparation, and maintain accurate records of stock, repairs, sales, and wastage.
- Ensure that food and service meet quality control standards, and address customer complaints or concerns in a professional and courteous manner.
- Establish work schedules, and maintain records of staff hours and attendance.
- Collaborate with other kitchen staff to ensure seamless communication and coordination of tasks.
- 1-2 years of experience in a kitchen supervisory role, preferably in a fast-paced food service environment.
- Safe Food Handling certificate, and other relevant certifications or training.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to lead and motivate a team.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment, with a high level of attention to detail and organizational skills.
