Merchandiser - Wholesale Establishment/Store

We are seeking a skilled Merchandiser to join our team at S&K Wipers. As a Merchandiser, you will be responsible for establishing and maintaining contact with suppliers, negotiating prices and credit terms, and overseeing the distribution of merchandise to our outlets.
Key Responsibilities- Establish and Maintain Contact with Suppliers: Develop and maintain relationships with suppliers to ensure a steady supply of high-quality merchandise.
- Negotiate Prices and Credit Terms: Negotiate prices, discounts, and credit terms with suppliers to ensure the best possible deals for S&K Wipers.
- Oversee Distribution of Merchandise: Coordinate the distribution of merchandise to our outlets, ensuring timely and efficient delivery.
- Provide Customer Service: Respond to customer inquiries and resolve any issues related to merchandise.
- Review Requirements and Determine Quantity and Type of Merchandise: Analyze the requirements of our outlets and determine the quantity and type of merchandise needed.
- Select and Purchase Merchandise: Source and purchase merchandise for resale, ensuring it meets our quality and pricing standards.
- Supervise Work of Other Buyers: Supervise and guide other buyers to ensure they are meeting their responsibilities and contributing to the team's success.
- Visit Trade Shows and Showrooms: Attend trade shows and showrooms to stay up-to-date on the latest products and trends.
- Education: Secondary (high) school graduation certificate.
- Work Setting: Wholesale establishment/store.
- Experience: 1 year to less than 2 years.
- Language: English.
- Work Hours: 35 hours per week.
