Job Title: Personal Support Worker

We are seeking a compassionate and dedicated Personal Support Worker to join our team at Toronto Poly Clinic Inc. As a Personal Support Worker, you will play a vital role in providing high-quality care and support to our clients.

Job Summary:

The Personal Support Worker will be responsible for providing personal care and support to clients in their homes, hospitals, or other care settings. This includes assisting with daily living activities, such as bathing, dressing, and grooming, as well as providing emotional support and companionship.

Responsibilities:
  • Provide personal care and support to clients, including bathing, dressing, and grooming
  • Assist clients with daily living activities, such as eating, toileting, and transferring
  • Provide emotional support and companionship to clients
  • Assist clients with medication management, including administering medications and monitoring side effects
  • Document client care and progress in a timely and accurate manner
  • Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to ensure comprehensive care and support for clients
Requirements:
  • 2 years of experience as a Personal Support Worker or in a related field
  • Completion of a Personal Support Worker training program or equivalent
  • Current certification in CPR and First Aid
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information
