About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Food Service Supervisor to join our team at Samaka Mediterranean Seafood. As a key member of our management team, you will be responsible for ensuring the highest standards of food quality, service, and customer satisfaction.

Key Responsibilities
  • Leadership and Supervision
    • Supervise and coordinate the activities of food preparation staff to ensure efficient service delivery.
    • Train staff in job duties, sanitation, and safety procedures to maintain a clean and safe working environment.
  • Food Quality and Control
    • Establish methods to meet work schedules and ensure that food and service meet quality control standards.
    • Estimate ingredient and supplies required for meal preparation and maintain accurate records of stock, repairs, sales, and wastage.
  • Customer Service
    • Address customers' complaints or concerns in a professional and courteous manner.
    • Ensure that all customers receive exceptional service and have a positive dining experience.
  • Administrative Tasks
    • Prepare and submit reports on sales, stock, and other relevant data.
    • Maintain accurate records of employee performance, training, and development.
Requirements
  • Education and Experience
    • Secondary (high) school graduation certificate.
    • 1 year to less than 2 years of experience in a food service supervisory role.
  • Skills and Abilities
    • Excellent leadership and communication skills.
    • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and meet tight deadlines.
    • Attention to detail and ability to maintain accurate records.
Working Conditions

The successful candidate will be required to work in a fast-paced environment with tight deadlines. The ability to work under pressure and maintain a high level of productivity is essential.
