Job Description

At Bombardier, we are seeking a highly skilled Senior Quality Engineering professional to join our team. As a key member of our engineering team, you will be responsible for managing and delivering engineering projects and activities related to major milestones for our existing and new platforms.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage cross-functional teams in the establishment of scope, schedule, and budget of engineering projects.
  • Lead and coordinate technical Engineering Change planning, ensuring completeness and harmonization with stakeholders.
  • Enforce adherence to Bombardier practices and Knowledge Standards to promote integrity and consistency in technical engineering activities.
  • Work closely with technical experts, business leaders, suppliers, and customer representatives to ensure adherence and compliance of projects scope, schedule, and budget.
  • Manage and establish engineering related priorities between projects and activities, complete strategic schedule analysis, and communicate and harmonize these priorities.
  • Identify and report on risks and lead risk mitigation planning and execution.
  • Participate and/or coordinate within the internal safety and security processes to assess, contain, and correct potential product deficiencies with cross-functional stakeholders.
  • Coordinate and manage multi-site activities and remote participation as necessary.
  • Coordinate formal engineering document release (Drawings, ModSums, Compliance Documents, Service Bulletins, etc.).

Requirements:

  • You have an Engineering degree, or relevant diploma with equivalent working experience, with 5-8 years in project management or aerospace.
  • You are familiar with Program/Project Management processes and principles.
  • You have sound aircraft technical and/or manufacturing experience.
  • You have previous experience in structural and/or systems development would be an asset.
  • You have effective problem-solving skills with the ability to make good decisions to move projects along to meet or exceed the targets.
  • Proficient in MS Office and experience with MS Excel and MS Project is an asset.
