Job Summary

We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Early Childhood Program Staff Assistant to join our team at the Borden Family Resource Centre. As an Early Childhood Educator Assistant, you will play a vital role in supporting the development and implementation of child-care programs that promote the physical, cognitive, emotional, and social development of children.

Key Responsibilities
  • Bathing, Diapering, and Feeding Infants and Toddlers
  • Developing and Implementing Child-Care Programs
  • Maintaining Daycare Equipment
  • Storytelling and Engaging Children in Activities
  • Assisting Early Childhood Educators in Carrying Out Programs
  • Leading Activities and Preparing Reports
  • Establishing and Maintaining Collaborative Relationships
  • Planning and Maintaining a Safe and Healthy Environment
  • Supervising and Coordinating Activities of Other Early Childhood Educators
Requirements
  • Member of the College of Early Childhood Educators (CECE)
  • Early Childhood Education (ECE) Certificate
  • First Aid Certificate
  • CPR Certificate
  • Criminal Record Check
  • Medical Exam
  • Immunization Records
  • Vulnerable Sector Check
