Chef Job Description

At Chucks Roadhouse Bar and Grill, we are seeking a skilled and experienced Chef to join our team. As a key member of our kitchen staff, you will be responsible for preparing and cooking complete meals or individual dishes and foods to the highest standards of quality and presentation.

Responsibilities:
  • Requisition food and kitchen supplies to ensure a well-stocked kitchen.
  • Prepare and cook complete meals or individual dishes and foods to meet the needs of our customers.
  • Order supplies and equipment to maintain a clean and efficient kitchen.
  • Supervise kitchen staff and helpers to ensure a smooth and productive work environment.
  • Maintain inventory and records of food, supplies, and equipment to ensure accurate tracking and ordering.
  • Clean kitchen and work areas to maintain a safe and healthy environment.
  • Manage kitchen operations to ensure efficient and effective food preparation and service.
Requirements:
  • Secondary (high) school graduation certificate or equivalent experience.
  • 7 months to less than 1 year of experience in a similar role.
  • Excellent oral communication skills to effectively interact with customers and staff.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment with attention to detail and a focus on quality.
  • Reliability and dependability to ensure a smooth and productive work environment.
