Retail Store Manager

Job Summary: We are seeking a highly skilled Retail Store Manager to oversee the daily operations of our retail store. The successful candidate will be responsible for managing sales teams, hiring and training staff, and maintaining inventory levels.
Key Responsibilities:
- Assign sales workers to duties and ensure efficient store operations
- Hire, train, and develop sales staff to meet business objectives
- Manage inventory levels, including ordering merchandise and authorizing returns
- Establish work schedules and ensure adequate staffing levels
- Prepare reports on sales volumes, merchandising, and personnel matters
- Resolve customer complaints and supply shortages in a timely manner
- Organize and maintain inventory, including stockroom management
- Supervise and coordinate activities of sales staff
Requirements:
- 1-2 years of retail management experience
- Secondary (high) school graduation certificate or equivalent experience
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and make sound decisions quickly
- Excellent communication and leadership skills
Working Conditions:
- 40 hours per week
- Permanent position
- English language required
