Amplifon, a global leader in hearing care, is seeking a skilled Audiologist and Hearing Instrument Specialist to join our team in Haliburton, ON. As a Hearing Care Professional, you will play a vital role in delivering a personalized, best-in-class customer experience to individuals who require hearing care.

About the Role:

As an Audiologist and Hearing Instrument Specialist, you will be responsible for guiding clients through comprehensive hearing tests, interpreting test results, and selecting suitable hearing aid solutions. You will also counsel clients on the latest hearing aid technology, build relationships, and provide ongoing hearing health education.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Conduct comprehensive hearing tests and interpret results to select suitable hearing aid solutions
  • Counsel clients on the latest hearing aid technology and help them identify a solution that addresses their hearing needs and lifestyle
  • Build relationships with clients through a caring and personalized experience
  • Remain current on industry technology and trends to provide ongoing hearing health education
  • Foster hearing healthcare awareness through community outreach and external partnerships
  • Contribute clinical expertise to corporate initiatives and projects

Requirements:

  • Masters degree in Audiology or a diploma from a recognized Hearing Instrument Specialist program
  • Registered and in good standing with applicable regulatory college or provincial governing body
  • Current knowledge of hearing aid technology and devices

Physical and Mental Demands:

  • Possess mobile dexterity to operate audiological equipment and execute hearing aid fittings
  • Able to move equipment up to 20 pounds
  • Frequently sitting, standing, walking, lifting, and reaching
