Software Engineer II, Financial Reporting Specialist

We are seeking a highly skilled Software Engineer II to join our Financial Reporting team at Carta, Inc. As a key member of our App Platform organization, you will play a critical role in building and maintaining our financial compliance tools.
Key Responsibilities- Design, develop, and deploy highly available, secure, and scalable financial platforms using Python, Django, Scala, React, and other technologies.
- Collaborate closely with product managers, business analysts, engineers, and designers to solve complex challenges and deliver customer value.
- Work on full-stack development with a focus on backend development, ensuring seamless integration with front-end components.
- Architect and design new features and intuitive user experiences for our Financial Reporting offering.
We are looking for a talented engineer who is passionate about building delightful user experiences and solving deep problems collaboratively. You should have a strong understanding of both relational and non-relational databases, as well as proficiency in our technology stack.
Additionally, you should possess:
- 1-4 years of experience building full-stack production systems, with a focus on backend development.
- A strong desire to become an expert in the product domain and adept at refining ambiguous product requirements.
- Enthusiasm about collaborating with stakeholders across engineering, product, business, and marketing, taking ownership of initiatives from start to finish.
