We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Software Engineer II to join our team at Tbwa Chiat/Day Inc. as a key member of our Private Equity practice. As a Senior Software Engineer II, you will play a critical role in designing, developing, and maintaining our financial platforms, ensuring they are highly available, secure, and scalable.
Key Responsibilities- Architect and develop complex financial platforms using full-stack or backend engineering expertise
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to gather requirements and define product roadmaps
- Design and implement secure, scalable, and highly available systems using Service Oriented Architecture (SOA) and microservices
- Work with stakeholders to refine ambiguous product requirements and deliver customer value
- Conduct timely and thoughtful peer code review, adhering to test-driven development (TDD) and maintaining high levels of code coverage and automation
- Mentor and grow junior developers, promoting a culture of psychological safety and diversity
We are looking for a talented engineer who is passionate about building delightful user experiences and solving deep problems collaboratively. You should have:
- 6+ years of full-stack or backend engineering experience
- Desire to become a product domain expert and refine ambiguous product requirements
- Experience working with complex SaaS products and Service Oriented Architecture (SOA) and microservices
- Passion for some elements of our tech stack (ReactJS, Java, Python, Datadog, REST / GRPC, Kafka, K8s, AWS)
- Excellent communication skills and ability to work with stakeholders across engineering, product, business, and marketing
