Job Title: Biological Research Scientist

We are seeking a highly skilled Biological Research Scientist to join our team at Duka Environmental Services Ltd. in a permanent position.

Job Summary:

The successful candidate will be responsible for maintaining, updating, and managing health information databases, performing administrative tasks, supervising biological technologists and technicians, and compiling and analyzing statistical information provided by private and public health care institutions and organizations.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Maintain, update, and manage health information databases
  • Perform administrative tasks
  • Supervise biological technologists and technicians and other scientists
  • Compile and analyze statistical information provided by private and public health care institutions and organizations
  • Conduct experiments in plant or animal growth, heredity, and breeding
  • Study, identify, and classify animal specimens
  • Prepare research papers, educational texts, or articles
  • Design and implement health and wellness projects or programs
Requirements:
  • College, CEGEP, or other non-university certificate or diploma from a program of 1 year to 2 years
  • Or equivalent experience
  • Ability to work under pressure
  • Excellent written and oral communication skills
  • Time management skills
Work Environment:

The successful candidate will work in a remote location, outdoors, and in a fast-paced environment. They will be required to travel to various locations and work with a team.
