Job Summary

We are seeking a Biologist to join our team at Duka Environmental Services Ltd. The successful candidate will be responsible for maintaining, updating, and managing health information databases, performing administrative tasks, and supervising biological technologists and technicians and other scientists.

Key Responsibilities

• Maintain, update and manage health information databases
• Perform administrative tasks
• Supervise biological technologists and technicians and other scientists
• Compile and analyze statistical information provided by private and public health care institutions and organizations
• Conduct experiments in plant or animal growth, heredity and breeding
• Study, identify and classify animal specimens
• Prepare research papers, educational texts or articles
• Design and implement health and wellness projects or programs
• Environmental assessment and monitoring
• Municipal and industrial waste management

Requirements

• College, CEGEP or other non-university certificate or diploma from a program of 1 year to 2 years
• Experience: 1 year to less than 2 years
