We are seeking a compassionate and dedicated Personal Care Assistant to join our team at Gander Personal Care Home 2009 Inc.

Job Summary:

The Personal Care Assistant will provide high-quality care and support to our residents, ensuring their physical, emotional, and social needs are met. This is a rewarding opportunity to make a positive impact on the lives of others.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Assist residents with daily living activities, such as bathing, dressing, and grooming
  • Provide emotional support and companionship to residents
  • Assist with meal preparation and serving
  • Maintain a clean and safe environment for residents
  • Assist with transportation and mobility
  • Administer basic first aid and respond to emergencies
Requirements:
  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Previous experience in a healthcare setting
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to lift up to 23 kg (50 lbs)
