Machinist Specialist

We are seeking a skilled Machinist Specialist to join our team at Dart Aerospace. As a key member of our manufacturing department, you will be responsible for operating various machine tools and equipment to produce high-quality parts.
Key Responsibilities:- Read and interpret engineering drawings, blueprints, charts, and tables to understand production requirements.
- Set up and adjust production machinery/tools to ensure accurate and efficient operation.
- Fabricate and assemble components and machine parts to close tolerance using precision measuring instruments.
- Maintain, repair, and calibrate precision measuring instruments to ensure accuracy and reliability.
- Document and report any deviations from specifications and tolerances to maintain quality control standards.
- Verify dimensions of parts machined using precise measuring instruments to ensure conformance to specifications.
- Operate conventional and computer-controlled machine tools to produce complex parts.
- Diploma or equivalent experience in a related field (e.g., machining, mechanical engineering).
- 1-2 years of experience in a machinist or related role.
- Proficiency in reading and interpreting technical drawings and specifications.
- Strong attention to detail and ability to work accurately in a fast-paced environment.
- Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
- Competitive salary ($55,000 - $65,000 per year).
