Job Summary

The Senior Pricing Analyst is responsible for analyzing complex financial, statistical, and competitor price data and recommending price changes to improve profitability.

This is a hybrid role with Tuesday, Wednesday, and Thursday out of the office. The successful candidate will work from an office located in a designated region.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

  • Implements and maintains pricing infrastructures.
  • Evaluates the effectiveness of pricing strategies and modifies pricing structures as needed.
  • Recommends and implements monthly price increases and coordinates with Sales and Billing for implementation.
  • Collects and analyzes complex financial, statistical, and strategic information to maintain pricing tools.
  • Creates and analyzes advanced reports for customer and route profitability.
  • Audits billing and services to monitor customer changes and set ups.
  • Provides reporting and documentation of pricing structures and serves as the point-of-contact for pricing inquiries from internal sales departments.
  • May provide support and direction to less experienced pricing analysts.

Supervisory Responsibilities

This job has no supervisory duties but may occasionally act as a team lead.

Qualifications

The requirements listed below are representative of the qualifications necessary to perform the job.

  • Education: Bachelor's Degree (accredited) in Business Administration, or in lieu of degree, High School Diploma or GED (accredited) and 4 years of relevant work experience.
  • Experience: 5 years of relevant work experience (in addition to education requirement).

  • None required.

Other Knowledge, Skills or Abilities Required

  • Financial and statistical analysis and waste industry experience required.
  • Bilingual French and English considered an asset.

Work Environment

Normal setting for this job is: office setting. Hybrid role - Tuesday, Wednesday, Thursdays from office.
