Job Description: Cashier
Cashiers play a vital role in our store operations, providing friendly and professional service to our customers while processing transactions accurately and efficiently.
The ideal candidate will have basic level numeracy skills and the ability to work independently in a fast-paced environment.
Responsibilities:
- Provide excellent customer service by greeting customers, responding to their inquiries, and resolving any issues promptly
- Maintain an accurate cash drawer following company policies and procedures
- Operate the Customer Service Desk, handling lottery sales, refunds, bottle returns, and other customer inquiries
- Main Front End Department merchandise, ensuring it is well-organized and visually appealing
- Participate in training junior staff members to ensure they have the necessary skills to perform their duties
- Adhere to and implement all applicable company standards
- Support additional departments and functions as needed

The starting salary range for this position in British Columbia is $16.85/hr.
