Role Overview

Cougar Helicopters Inc. is seeking an experienced Pilot-in-Command to lead our flight operations team. As a key member of our organization, you will be responsible for ensuring the highest standards of safety, training, and regulatory compliance. Your leadership will be vital in promoting a safety culture, overseeing accident and incident reports, and managing the performance of flight crews and staff.

Key Responsibilities
  • Manage all flight crew operations, overseeing comprehensive training programs and maintaining compliance with aviation regulations.
  • Evaluate aircraft types, procedures, and equipment for operational suitability, while supervising a diverse team of flight operations personnel.
  • Develop and maintain Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) and training programs.
  • Conduct pilot evaluations for hiring and upgrades, ensuring all flight crew members hold valid licenses, ratings, and certifications.

Requirements
  • Valid ATPL(H) with an instrument rating and type rating(s) on company aircraft.
  • Minimum of 3,000 flight hours as pilot-in-command of multi-engine helicopters.
  • Five years of relevant experience, with no disqualifying aviation convictions.
