We are seeking a skilled Tile Setter to join our team at SSK Construction Ltd.
Job SummaryThe successful candidate will be responsible for preparing, measuring, and marking surfaces to be covered with tiles, as well as mixing, applying, and spreading mortar, cement, mastic, glue, or other adhesives using hand trowels.
Key Responsibilities- Prepare surfaces for tile installation by cleaning, repairing, and applying adhesives.
- Measure and mark surfaces to ensure accurate tile placement.
- Install tiles, including cutting and fitting tiles around obstacles and openings.
- Pack grout into joints between tiles and remove excess grout.
- Remove and replace cracked or damaged tiles.
- Lay and set mosaic tiles to create decorative wall, mural, and floor designs.
- Secondary (high) school graduation certificate.
- 1 year to less than 2 years of experience in tile setting.
- Ability to work in various locations.
- Physical stamina to perform physically demanding tasks.
- Excellent hand-eye coordination and fine motor skills.
