At Ramco's Carpet Warehouse Ltd, we are seeking a skilled Tile Setter to join our team. As a Tile Setter, you will be responsible for installing ceramic, porcelain, and natural stone tiles in various settings, including commercial and residential buildings.
Key Responsibilities:- Prepare and measure surfaces to be covered with tiles
- Mix and apply adhesives, such as mortar and cement, to secure tiles in place
- Align and straighten tiles to ensure a professional finish
- Cut and fit tiles around obstacles and openings using hand and power cutting tools
- Pack grout into joints between tiles and remove excess grout
- Remove and replace cracked or damaged tiles
- Lay and set mosaic tiles to create decorative designs
- Cut, surface, polish, and install marble and granite tiles
- 3 years to less than 5 years of experience in tile setting
- Physical stamina to handle heavy loads and work in a fast-paced environment
- Attention to detail and ability to work accurately
- Dependability and reliability in meeting deadlines and working as part of a team
