We are looking for a skilled Senior Software Requirements Engineer to join our team. This is a 14-15 month contract position.

In this role, you will be responsible for coordinating, creating and consolidating product development documentation as it pertains to requirements and specifications for regulated medical software. You will also provide recommendations related to management and coordination of product development documentation to all relevant teams.

About the Role:
  • You will work closely with stakeholders to gain a comprehensive understanding of the products
  • You will liaise with Product Managers to elicit and appropriately document requirements for software projects (includes hearing aid firmware, desktop fitting software and mobile applications)
  • You will coordinate with various Research and Development (R&D) departments to understand and communicate feature feasibility (both technical and timeline feasibility), arbitrating any conflicts that may arise
  • You will work with various R&D personnel to adapt requirements into software specifications using appropriate, unambiguous language, for use in software development
  • You will recommend actions and necessary changes related to product documentation
  • You will provide guidance and leadership to other Requirements Engineers and related functions

The ideal candidate will have a Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience, 2-5 years business analysis experience in a technology environment, strong computer and word processing skills, strong analytical and prioritization skills, excellent written and communication skills, ability to distill and communicate complex technical concepts clearly and succinctly, and strong background in Microsoft Office applications (Word, PowerPoint, Excel).

A minimum of 200Mb/sec download and 10Mb/sec upload speed internet connectivity is required to support any remote/hybrid employee functionality at Sonova Group.
