Food Service Supervisor

Lucky's Motel, Restaurant & Lounge is seeking a skilled Food Service Supervisor to join our team. As a key member of our food and beverage operations, you will be responsible for ensuring the smooth day-to-day running of our restaurant.
Key Responsibilities:- Establish Work Schedules: Develop and implement efficient work schedules to meet the demands of our restaurant.
- Requisition Food and Kitchen Supplies: Source and procure high-quality food and kitchen supplies to maintain our high standards.
- Supervise Kitchen Staff: Lead and coordinate the activities of our kitchen staff to ensure prompt and efficient food preparation and service.
- Address Customer Concerns: Respond promptly and professionally to customer complaints and concerns, ensuring a positive dining experience.
- Prepare Reports: Compile and submit accurate reports on food sales, inventory, and staff performance.
- Support for Newcomers and Refugees: Provide diversity and cross-cultural training to create a welcoming work environment for newcomers and refugees.
- Support for Indigenous People: Offer cultural competency training to promote a respectful and inclusive workplace for Indigenous employees.
Requirements:
- College, CEGEP, or other non-university certificate or diploma from a program of 3 months to less than 1 year.
- 1 to less than 7 months of experience in a related field.
Work Environment:
- Permanent position.
- 30 to 40 hours per week.
- English language.
