About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Painting and Decorating Supervisor to join our team at Ultra Painting Ltd. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for overseeing the painting and decorating operations, ensuring that all projects are completed to the highest standards.

Key Responsibilities
  • Project Management: Oversee the planning, execution, and completion of painting and decorating projects, ensuring that they are delivered on time, within budget, and to the required quality standards.
  • Team Leadership: Supervise and manage a team of painters and decorators, providing guidance, support, and training to ensure that they have the skills and knowledge required to perform their duties effectively.
  • Quality Control: Conduct regular site visits to ensure that work is being carried out to the required standards, and take corrective action where necessary.
  • Health and Safety: Ensure that all health and safety regulations are adhered to, and that the team is aware of and follows all safety procedures.
  • Materials and Equipment: Requisition and order materials, equipment, and supplies as required, and ensure that they are stored and maintained in a safe and secure manner.
  • Communication: Communicate effectively with clients, colleagues, and other stakeholders to ensure that projects are delivered to the required standards and that all parties are informed of progress and any issues that may arise.
Requirements
  • Education: Secondary (high) school graduation certificate
  • Experience: 1 year to less than 2 years of experience in a supervisory or management role in the painting and decorating industry
  • Language: English or French
  • Availability: Available for shift or on-call work, and able to work 40 hours per week
