Job Title: Painting and Decorating Supervisor

We are seeking a skilled and experienced Painting and Decorating Supervisor to join our team at Ultra painting Ltd.

Job Summary:

The successful candidate will be responsible for supervising a team of painters and decorators, ensuring that projects are completed on time and to a high standard. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in painting and decorating, excellent leadership skills, and the ability to work well under pressure.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Supervise a team of painters and decorators to ensure projects are completed on time and to a high standard.
  • Coordinate and schedule activities to ensure efficient use of time and resources.
  • Recruit and hire new team members as needed.
  • Train and develop team members to improve their skills and performance.
  • Ensure health and safety regulations are followed on site.
  • Read and interpret blueprints and drawings to understand project requirements.
  • Requisition or order materials, equipment, and supplies as needed.
  • Lead and instruct team members to ensure they have the necessary skills and knowledge to complete tasks.
Requirements:
  • 1 year to less than 2 years of experience in painting and decorating.
  • Permanent employment.
  • English or French language proficiency.
  • 40 hours per week.
Working Conditions:
  • Outdoors.
  • Noisy.
  • Dusty.
Education:
  • Secondary (high) school graduation certificate.
Work Setting:
  • Construction.
