Job Title: Software Development Engineer Internship

Amazon is seeking a highly skilled Software Development Engineer Internship to join our team. As a Software Development Engineer Internship, you will be responsible for designing, developing, and testing software applications for our cloud-based database services.

About the Role:
  • Design and develop software applications for our cloud-based database services
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify and prioritize project requirements
  • Develop and maintain high-quality software code
  • Test and debug software applications to ensure they meet requirements
  • Participate in code reviews and provide feedback to team members

Requirements:
  • 3+ years of non-internship professional software development experience
  • 2+ years of non-internship design or architecture (design patterns, reliability, and scaling) of new and existing systems experience
  • Experience programming with at least one software programming language
  • 2+ years of programming using a modern programming language such as Java, C++, or C#, including object-oriented design experience
  • 3+ years of full software development life cycle, including coding standards, code reviews, source control management, build processes, testing, and operations experience
  • Bachelor's degree in computer science or equivalent
