Software Development Engineer Internship

Are you passionate about building scalable database systems for the cloud? Do you want to be part of a team that revolutionizes the way databases are built for the cloud? We are looking for experienced technical experts in relational databases and large-scale storage system technologies to join our Amazon Aurora PostgreSQL Engine team.
About the RoleWe are seeking a skilled software development engineer to design and develop significant system software components critical to our industry-leading database services architected for the cloud. You will be part of a team that architects, designs, and implements highly scalable distributed database systems that provide availability, reliability, and performance guarantees.
Responsibilities- Design and develop rock-solid components for our database systems
- Mentor other developers and contribute to the growth of the team
- Collaborate with senior developers to brainstorm and implement new ideas
- Participate in code reviews and ensure adherence to coding standards
- Contribute to the development of new features and enhancements
- 3+ years of non-internship professional software development experience
- 2+ years of non-internship design or architecture experience
- Experience programming with at least one software programming language
- 3+ years of full software development life cycle experience
- Bachelor's degree in computer science or equivalent
