At Morson Talent (Canada & USA), we are currently assisting our client, a leading rotor wing maintenance, repair, and overhaul (MRO) organization, in their quest to fill positions for highly skilled Avionics Maintenance Engineers (AMEs) in Petawawa, ON.

About the Role

We are seeking an experienced AME with strong leadership skills to oversee projects assigned by the Avionics Manager or Supervisor. This individual will collaborate with other trade Supervisors/Leads to meet turnaround time (TAT) requirements. Key responsibilities include conducting aircraft inspections, reviewing work packages for aircraft maintenance, performing and supervising maintenance to applicable standards, and troubleshooting faulty systems.

Key Skills and Qualifications

- Hold a valid Transport Canada AME "E" Type license or have completed Military AVN training on CH-146.
- Proficient in using electronic or paper-based manuals and capable of navigating vendor data to find necessary information.
- Knowledgeable about aircraft systems and aviation standards.
- Minimum 3 years' experience working on Bell-type helicopters.
- Possess a type endorsement on Bell 412.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to take direction and follow instructions.
