The Warehouse Operations Supervisor is a key member of the SUN PHARMA team, responsible for overseeing the day-to-day operations of the warehouse. This includes managing inventory, ensuring accurate and efficient receipt, storage, and shipment of products, as well as maintaining a safe and organized work environment.
Key Responsibilities- Inventory Management: Develop and implement effective inventory management strategies to minimize stockouts and overstocking, ensuring that products are available when needed.
- Warehouse Operations: Supervise and coordinate the activities of warehouse staff, including receiving, storing, and shipping products, as well as maintaining a clean and organized work environment.
- Supply Chain Management: Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure seamless supply chain operations, including procurement, production, and distribution.
- Quality Assurance: Implement and maintain quality control processes to ensure that products meet SUN PHARMA's high standards.
- Process Improvement: Identify opportunities for process improvements and implement changes to increase efficiency and productivity.
- Team Leadership: Provide guidance, coaching, and development opportunities to warehouse staff to ensure they have the skills and knowledge needed to perform their jobs effectively.
- Education: Post-secondary diploma or equivalent experience in a related field.
- Experience: Minimum 10 years of experience in a warehouse or logistics environment, with at least 3-5 years of supervisory experience.
- Skills: Strong leadership and communication skills, with the ability to motivate and develop a team. Proficient in inventory management software and ERP systems.
The Warehouse Operations Supervisor will work in a fast-paced warehouse environment, with regular exposure to noise from equipment and occasional exposure to extreme temperatures. The position requires the ability to work in a combination office/warehouse environment, with 20-30% of time spent in the warehouse or production areas.
