About the Role:

We are seeking an experienced Automotive Service Technician to join our team at Kal Tire. As a key member of our service team, you will be responsible for performing routine maintenance and intricate repairs on compact cars and busy light-duty fleets.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Perform general mechanical services on multiple vehicles, from routine maintenance to complex repairs.
  • Assist in building and maintaining a mechanical program that meets the needs of our customers.
  • Mentor apprentices and nurture the future generation of mechanics.
  • Work collaboratively with the sales team to identify potential mechanical opportunities.
  • Ensure a safe and efficient work environment by adhering to safety protocols and wearing required PPE.

Requirements:

  • Certification as an Automotive Service Technician 310S.
  • A valid driver's license.
  • Minimum of 3 years of hands-on experience in front-end brakes, shocks, and wheel alignment.
  • Excellent attention to detail with a methodical approach to problem-solving.
  • Ability to work in a physically demanding environment that includes heavy lifting and moving constantly throughout the day.
