About the Role

We are seeking a skilled Automotive Service Technician to join our team at Canadian Tire Store #278. As a key member of our service department, you will be responsible for providing exceptional customer service and ensuring the highest level of vehicle repair and maintenance.

Key Responsibilities
  • Vehicle Inspection and Repair: Conduct thorough inspections of motor vehicles to identify and repair any issues, ensuring a safe and reliable driving experience for our customers.
  • Diagnostic and Troubleshooting: Use advanced diagnostic tools and techniques to identify and repair complex vehicle problems, working closely with our team to ensure timely and efficient resolutions.
  • Customer Service: Provide exceptional customer service, communicating clearly and effectively with customers to understand their needs and concerns, and ensuring their satisfaction with our services.
  • Team Collaboration: Work collaboratively with our service team to ensure seamless communication and coordination, ensuring that all vehicles are repaired and maintained to the highest standards.
Requirements
  • Education and Certification: No degree, certificate, or diploma required; however, Automotive Service Technician Trade Certification is an asset.
  • Experience: 5 years or more of experience in the automotive service industry, with a strong background in vehicle repair and maintenance.
  • Work Environment: Fast-paced environment with a focus on customer satisfaction and team collaboration.
  • Physical Demands: Hand-eye coordination and ability to work in a physically demanding environment.
