Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled and compassionate Radiation Therapist to join our team at Hamilton Health Sciences. As a Radiation Therapist, you will play a critical role in the treatment and care of cancer patients, working closely with our multidisciplinary team to deliver high-quality patient care.

Key Responsibilities
  • Assess and educate patients on radiation treatment options and procedures
  • Plan and administer radiation treatment, ensuring accurate and safe delivery
  • Document patient treatment information and prescriptions
  • Participate in quality assurance programs, research, and continuing education
  • Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to ensure seamless patient care
Requirements
  • Current registration with the Canadian Medical Radiation Technologists Registry (CMRTO)
  • Membership with the Ontario Association of Medical Radiation Technologists (OAMRT) and the Canadian Association of Medical Radiation Technologists (CAMRT)
  • Current Basic Life Support (BCLS) certification
  • Minimum 3 years of recent and relevant Radiation Therapist experience
  • Preferred qualifications include MRI certification and IV insertion certification
