Clinical Team Lead for Mental Health Services

Fraser Health Authority seeks an experienced Clinical Team Lead to oversee the delivery of mental health services in our community.

About the Role:
- Oversee the provision of care in the designated service area and ensure its overall effectiveness.
- Coordinate patient/client care assignments, provide information and consultation to program staff and students, review, problem-solve, and provide guidance in managing patient/client/family care needs.
- Establish clinical priorities, assign and adjust work assignments, ensure necessary resources are available, and promote a positive team environment.
- Participate in recruitment, interviewing, and selection of staff; provide leadership by developing, implementing, and evaluating staff orientations, in-service education, and placement of students for clinical practice experience.
- Assess, develop, and evaluate the skills and performance of staff by providing individual coaching and instruction as needed; conduct performance evaluations and ensure maintenance of standards, protocols, and procedures.
- Provide clinical expertise, consultation, role modeling, and leadership in evidence-based practice to staff and/or patients/clients by reviewing literature, consulting with experts, collaborating with members of the interprofessional team, evaluating clinical practice, and recommending changes to existing standards.
- Evaluate and improve quality assurance processes by engaging in programs/practice evaluation, identifying areas for improved efficiency and effectiveness in service delivery, participating in quality assurance audits, facility reviews, and facility or staff investigations as required.
- Responsible for optimal use of patient/client care resources, identify opportunities for improved resource utilization, provide input into budget/staff allocations, assist team members in workload decision-making, evaluate and identify required patient/client care products and/or equipment, and recommend changes to existing administrative processes.
