Job Title: Structural Steel Drafter- Detailer

We are seeking a skilled Structural Steel Drafter- Detailer to join our team at ACL Steel Ltd. in a permanent position.

Job Description:Key Responsibilities:
  • Prepare engineering designs and drawings for structural steel fabrication projects.
  • Read blueprints to determine work requirements and develop design sketches.
  • Prepare construction specifications, costs, and material estimates.
  • Write technical reports and complete documentation packages and drawing sets.
  • Examine drawings for conformity and errors.
Requirements:
  • 2 years to less than 3 years of experience in structural steel drafting or a related field.
  • Excellent oral and written communication skills.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment with tight deadlines.
  • Attention to detail and ability to distinguish between colors.
  • Sound discrimination and ability to handle heavy loads.
