**Job Title:** Strategic IT Project Manager

**Company:** Worldsource Wealth Management

We are seeking an experienced IT Project Manager to lead the development and implementation of strategic business and technology programs in the financial services industry.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Project Planning and Management: Develop full-scale project plans, manage project scope, goals, and deliverables, and estimate resources and participants needed to achieve project goals.
  • Team Leadership: Create and facilitate a collaborative and positive project team environment, apply proven soft-skills, and leverage steering and executive committees for decision-making, change management, and communications.
  • Vendor Management: Manage the integration of vendor tasks, track and review vendor deliverables, and establish and maintain positive trust relationships with third-party contractors and vendors.
  • Reporting and Communication: Produce accurate reports of project status and trajectory, present to management, and organize meetings to discuss and review project operational strategies.
  • Change Management: Build and implement a change management plan to educate and train users to operate new systems or equipment, ensuring a smooth transition from old technological systems to new ones.
  • Risk Management: Conduct risk assessments to identify factors capable of minimizing the success of a project and evaluate the progress of the project to determine the need for adjustment in strategy.
Requirements:
  • Education: Post-secondary education in Business or Information Technology.
  • Experience: ~5+ years of program/project management experience in a fast-paced technology environment.
  • Skills: Proficient with Microsoft Word, Excel, MS Project, and Visio, and able to summarize project results and explain complex issues in presentation format.
