Oakridge Landscape Contractors is seeking a skilled and dedicated Landscaping Labourer to join our team. As a valued member of our crew, you will play a crucial role in delivering exceptional outdoor spaces for our clients.

Job Summary:

We are looking for an experienced and reliable individual to work on various physical activities related to the landscape gardening industry. This includes planting trees, grass, and gardens; laying driveways and patios; building walls and fences, and more. You will be responsible for maintaining high standards of quality in all projects and ensuring safety on-site at all times.

Main Responsibilities:
  • Communicate effectively with the Foreperson and crew members about tasks, schedules, and concerns.
  • Perform heavy lifting and labor-intensive tasks with a positive attitude.
  • Tolerate various weather conditions and work outdoors.
  • Arrive 15 minutes before the scheduled start time with appropriate personal protective equipment.
  • Understand and complete tasks as instructed by the Foreperson, including equipment setup and daily preparations.
  • Maintain a neat appearance and be polite to all onsite visitors.
  • Operate power equipment safely and responsibly, ensuring proper fuel usage.
  • Report any damaged tools or equipment to the Foreperson.
Requirements and Qualifications:
  • Good command of the English language (verbal and written) with excellent communication skills.
  • Valid G driver's license and clean driver's abstract.
  • Ability to work long hours and have reliable transportation to and from job sites.
  • Strong knowledge of job safety and safe work habits.
  • Self-motivated, problem-solving, and a team player.
  • Respectful to staff, clients, and on-site safety protocols.
Compensation:

The estimated salary for this position is $45,000 per year, depending on experience. We offer competitive compensation and benefits packages to support your growth and success.
