Landscape Labourer Job Description

Cedar Springs Landscape Group is seeking a skilled Landscape Labourer to join our team. As a key member of our landscape maintenance crew, you will be responsible for assisting with landscape constructions, weeding, pruning, and trimming trees and plants, cutting grass, raking and collecting refuse, and removing litter and garbage.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Assist with landscape constructions
  • Weed, prune, and trim trees and plants
  • Cut grass
  • Rake and collect refuse
  • Remove litter and garbage
  • Cart and spread topsoil and other materials
  • Lay sod or seed
  • Plant bulbs, flowers, shrubs, and trees
  • Water and tend to plants, lawns, and/or gardens
  • Operate and maintain landscape maintenance equipment
  • Spread sand or salt on sidewalks for snow or ice control
  • Plant and move trees
Work Environment:

You will be working in a fast-paced environment with tight deadlines, handling heavy loads, and working in a physically demanding role. You will be required to work under pressure, handle repetitive tasks, and maintain a high level of manual dexterity and attention to detail.

Requirements:
  • 2 years to less than 3 years of experience
  • Permanent employment
  • English language proficiency
  • 40 hours per week
