Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled Wholesale Buyer to join our team at 3085496 NOVA SCOTIA LIMITED. As a Wholesale Buyer, you will be responsible for procuring high-quality merchandise for resale, establishing and maintaining relationships with suppliers, and overseeing the distribution of products to our outlets.

Key Responsibilities
  • Market Research: Conduct thorough market research to stay up-to-date on market trends, competitor activity, and customer preferences.
  • Supplier Management: Develop and maintain strong relationships with suppliers to ensure timely and cost-effective delivery of merchandise.
  • Purchasing: Negotiate prices, discounts, and credit terms with suppliers to maximize value for our company.
  • Inventory Management: Oversee the distribution of merchandise to our outlets, ensuring that products are delivered on time and in the correct quantities.
  • Product Sourcing: Identify and select high-quality merchandise for resale, taking into account factors such as price, quality, and availability.
  • Reporting: Provide regular reports to management on purchasing activity, supplier performance, and inventory levels.
Requirements
  • Education: Bachelor's degree in a relevant field, such as business, supply chain management, or a related field.
  • Experience: 1 year to less than 2 years of experience in a wholesale buying or procurement role.
  • Skills: Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, excellent communication and interpersonal skills, and the ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
