About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Wholesale Buyer to join our team at 3085496 NOVA SCOTIA LIMITED. As a Wholesale Buyer, you will be responsible for purchasing merchandise for resale and overseeing its distribution to our outlets.

Key Responsibilities
  • Market Research: Study market reports, trade periodicals, and sales promotion materials to stay up-to-date on industry trends and competitor activity.
  • Supplier Management: Establish and maintain strong relationships with suppliers to negotiate prices, discounts, credit terms, and transportation arrangements.
  • Inventory Management: Review requirements of our establishment and determine the quantity and type of merchandise to purchase, ensuring optimal stock levels and minimizing waste.
  • Purchasing and Procurement: Select and purchase merchandise for resale, taking into account factors such as quality, price, and lead time.
  • Logistics and Distribution: Oversee the distribution of merchandise to our outlets, ensuring timely and efficient delivery.
