We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Accounts Receivable Specialist to join our team in Brantford. This is an excellent opportunity for someone looking to grow their career in the Distribution industry.

Job Summary

This role involves preparing and issuing invoices to customers, recording and applying payments received from clients, reconciling accounts receivable ledger, and responding to customer inquiries. Strong problem identification and resolution skills are required.

Key Responsibilities
  • Billing and Invoicing: Prepare and issue accurate and prompt invoices to customers.
  • Payment Processing: Record and apply payments received from clients, ensuring all transactions are documented correctly.
  • Accounts Reconciliation: Reconcile accounts receivable ledger to ensure all payments are accounted for and properly posted.
  • Customer Communication: Respond to customer inquiries regarding billing issues, payment discrepancies, and account statuses in a timely and professional manner.
Required Skills and Qualifications
  • Minimum 1 year of full cycle AR experience.
  • Experience with major ERP systems including MS Dynamics Great Plains is a great asset.
  • Strong attention to detail and numerical accuracy.
  • Strong work ethic and positive team attitude.
