Job Summary:

The Medical Instrument Sterilizer will be responsible for setting up and dismantling equipment, cleaning and maintaining equipment, laying out surgical instruments, operating and maintaining sterilization equipment and instrumentation for re-use, and performing general clerical duties.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Set up and dismantle equipment according to standardized safety practices
  • Clean and maintain equipment to ensure optimal performance
  • Lay out surgical instruments in a safe and organized manner
  • Operate and maintain sterilization equipment and instrumentation for re-use
  • Perform general clerical duties, including reception and record-keeping
  • Sterilize and maintain instruments and equipment
  • Prepare dental instruments and filling materials
  • Record dental procedures performed on patients
Work Environment:

The Medical Instrument Sterilizer will work in a fast-paced environment with tight deadlines, requiring attention to detail and the ability to work under pressure.

Requirements:
  • Secondary (high) school graduation certificate
  • 1 to less than 7 months of experience in a related field
  • Ability to work in a combination of sitting, standing, and walking
  • Ability to stand for extended periods
