Job Title: Early Childhood Educator

We are seeking a dedicated and passionate Early Childhood Educator to join our team at KIDDOS ON THE GO LTD.

Job Summary:

The Early Childhood Educator will be responsible for developing and implementing child-care programs that support and promote the physical, cognitive, emotional, and social development of children. This role requires a strong understanding of child development principles and the ability to create engaging and interactive learning experiences.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Develop and implement child-care programs that support and promote the physical, cognitive, emotional, and social development of children
  • Supervise staff, trainees, or volunteers and assist early childhood educators in carrying out programs
  • Lead activities by telling or reading stories, teaching songs, and taking children to local points of interest
  • Assist early childhood educators or supervisors in keeping records and observing children for signs of potential learning or behavioral problems
  • Establish guidelines for behavior and attend staff meetings to discuss progress and problems of children
  • Establish and maintain collaborative relationships with co-workers and community service providers working with children
  • Plan and maintain an environment that protects the health, security, and well-being of children
Requirements:
  • Child Development Supervisor (ECE Level 3) certification
  • Emergency Child Care First Aid and CPR certification
  • First Aid Certificate
  • CPR Certificate
  • Criminal Record Check and Vulnerable Sector Check
  • Punctuality, dependability, efficient interpersonal skills, excellent oral and written communication, flexibility, interpersonal awareness, judgement, reliability, team player, values and ethics, creativity, honesty, and ability to multitask
Experience:
  • 1 year to less than 2 years of experience working with children
